People have definitely changed their takes on 1-3, myself included. They are better now because of how fleshed out that era (now) is, so there is more to think about on a rewatch. Don't discount how people's taste change over time, that's over 2 decades ago.

This was my experience for PlayStations with Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4. Bought them, updated or whatever as needed, played them for HOURS. There was occasional jank and a few random glitches, but they never just gave up or became unplayable.
