x2 on Coleman, he was always my favorite, I loved all their project cars, the Rally 510 was some of the funniest car writing I've ever read. Thinking about it, I remember reading like 20 years ago Kojima wouldn't actually drive his 300ZX, just dump money on it and rub it with a diaper šŸ˜‚

I was an SCC acolyte, you're right, Moto IQ is good but kind of flat. I think Kojima runs a tight ship but needs someone to remind him to lighten up

Because reading the new issue of C&DĀ on the toilet is one of life's small joys

I’ve wanted a rare Corvette for years but will settle for the cars and my bike as of now, and will eventually build my own awesome one. Like, I’m happy we finally got a house last year, its a total pain sometimes but at least it won’t fall out of the sky!

He hopes it’ll blend into his KFC, hopefully it will all look vaguely cohesive and no one will see how many pieces he’s taken

I try to be egalitarian but I’ll be honest, seeing videos of BRRRRRRTTTTTTT is just fucking awesome

The Great Recession really hurt car enthusiasm and its only starting to come back in the past few years, I watched VWVortex traffic and posting plummet after, by 2011 a hell of a lot of car forums were ghost towns.

I’ve been on Vortex for over 12 years, mk1 TT heyooooo!

Really like the two-tone blue!

It was the sister to the first VAG Bentleys and it amortalized costs to instantly make Bentley profitable. You could argue it was trying to punch VW upmarket but it could have just as easily been a shrewd move to play the books.

You had me at ā€œtrifurcates.ā€ Also, I totally love Mooneyes and the whole Rat Fink scene, I want an old car baaaad. Sometimes I just want to get tatted up, jump in a time machine, and live out every hot rod greaser fantasy with my car that’s at least 23% frenched lead.

I wish they had incorporated some kind of round element into the design to give it a more car appearance, something along the lines of the original XF but sleeker. To me it looks way too much like the R8, but the lights also remind me of the little blinkers OEMs have been separating from the headlights and throwing…

Nope. The Edsel crashes into the back of a truck with a trailer hitch. You’d think it would be proper to call it a rear-end collision, but this is it actually both anatomically-correct and Church-approved vehicular coitus.

I picked up a carb’d Monster 750 for $2k this summer. I’ve been looking at bikes for awhile but have very little knowledge or background about bikes like I do cars, so the pricing of motorcycles continues to boggle me. I got a good deal because most every comparable Duc was the Dark version (boring) but at the same…

The E39 was built from 1998-2003

Only our Jeep does, and those are actually just the marker/parkingĀ lights. I do like some of them but it's mostly a big nope.

Welp, you won, are you happy now?

That was fucking awesome, I'm thankful for AWD burnouts

I’ve always been under the impression it was the E39 M5's halos that really got the trend started, Audi introduced fancy DRLs with the B7 but by the time of the Le Mans diesels they were everywhere.
