Firing Clarkson was a mistake? So he should just be allowed to go around and assault anyone he likes, free of consequence? No thanks.

Yeah, several people have mistaken the 767 that was there for the 787B that was there last year. A few Jalopnik cards need to be handed back in, methinks.
Have recently been to Santa Pod. I’ve heard F1 cars for years, as well as all manner of classic and contemporary sports/open-wheel/rally cars. None come anywhere near to how loud a Top Fuel car is when they launch.
Goodwood Festival of Speed isn’t really a race. Historic and significant cars go up the hill one at a time. They’re timed, but most cars aren’t trying to set fast times.
Probably a different one - that red car was at Brands Hatch on the 7th/8th and Silverstone on the 14th/15th.
This was at Silverstone this weekend. The silver one ran laps during the lunch break. It sounded great, but the GT3 field that raced later on was much more exciting to watch.
It wasn’t - this is at Silverstone.
You’ve written all this, but your first sentence makes it completely and utterly irrelevant. You have only got experience from America. It’s not the same in England, which is where the article is written about. I’ve seen footage of people throwing rocks at Ferraris driving by in London. People are more hostile to cars…
You’re kidding, right? This is the internet. People curse.
I read somewhere that they were appealing by trying to claim that the disintegrated Toyota bodywork caused extra and unusual wear on the skid plate. Not really a likely cause but they’re desperate at this point.
“the buzzing the tower was truely about our jets buzzing and doing low flybys on our ships/bases.”
Part of it is at the Sweet Lamb rally complex, which is between Aberystwyth and Newtown, on the edge of Powys. I’m pretty sure some of it run up near Dolgellau, too.
We’re on Lifehacker, not Jalopnik. A lot of people here don’t really consider/care about those things. It’s sad, but I guess that just leaves more fun cars for us enthusiasts.
That’s because most people see cars as appliances these days. As an enthusiast, it’s saddening, but what can we do other than buy cars from companies that haven’t forgotten about fun, like Mazda or Ford?
The Mid Wales Stages also ran this weekend, which is the first event of this year’s British Rally Championship. WRC driver Elfyn Evans was competing, as was Ari Vatanen’s son, Max. Chris Harris was also competing in a Toyota GT86.
I think you’re on the wrong website. If you have to ask these things, you probably just wouldn’t understand the explanations - they don’t come from a place of logic, but a place of passion.
I’ve heard a 787B in the flesh, and it wasn’t as bad as I remember the R-GT being.
The A-10 was designed before the gun was designed. The gun was not available when the plane prototypes were made.
The Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT is, to this day, the most painfully loud car I’ve ever heard. I’ve heard all sorts of racing cars, including a top fuel dragster, but the R-GT’s wail cut through me the most.
B-21 Poltergeist. Because it’s a spooky spectral thing that you can’t see but it fucks with you and your shit anyway.
