The current IS nose is really ugly, especially disappointing since the first 2 generations were both great looking cars.

OTOH the hatch is curved by cutting a piece of thin wall angle iron repeatedly with an angle grinder then, just bent. That looks floppy as hell:

They are nice to be in, nice to drive and won’t break, I love my TSX wagon.

The base Abarth in the states is a 160 HP version of the 1.4 turbo with straight exhaust after the cat. I think they’re irresistibly and irrationally fun to rip around urban streets although they’re definitely not particularly serious or well conceived daily transportation for most people.

I disagree wholeheartedly without reservation on number 3. It’s harder to have more fun in a new car for under 25k. If you don’t enjoy an Abarth you have no soul and no capacity for fun.
