I recently rewatched it after like 10 years or so and it was entertaining in a really odd way. I just think that the casual racist humor ruins it from being actually good. It’s hard to think that a lot of those jokes were approved in a script prior to filming.

Yup, they sure made me more interested in history! Carolus Rex is their most shining achievement, in my opinion. The title track is the first song of theirs I heard (used in a YT video about the God Emperor) and is still my favorite!
