So what kinda rhythm are we talking about here? Is it straight 4:4 time? Because you can use any mix of other time signatures to easily produce an arrhythmical walk. Think about how the song Possum Kingdom alternates between 7:8 and 8:8 time throughout. I doubt a worm would pick up on that.
