I think Cersei accepts Tyene and Ellaria but tosses Yara back to Euron.

You should wait. It is possible Tyene doesn't make it to court. Highly unlikely, but possible.

I would love to see an article on Twin Peaks: The Return. I want to see people lose every week on "Agent Cooper Wakes Up".

They also established in episode 1 that the Lannister armies are spread thin. Arya's little Riverlands stunt may have given the Unsullied a clear run.

Oh man. That would actually be a smart move for a change.

It is guaranteed that the show will end. It may not end well, but it will end.

I read that as Euron just not caring. His fleet, her fleet, it'll all be the same after the battle.

In fairness that was just the one raven which was probably someone's warg. No spoiler tags cuz that is just my conjecture.

In the books they did. All nobles get a maester regardless of political status. I think it preserves their overall neutrality.

I read this as a standard recruiting tactic. Get a child full of hate, redirect that towards anonymous killing in the service of some vague system of beliefs.

This also happens in the books, if I recall.

This happens in the books.

Yeah I've interpreted the fireproof thing as the property of magical item attunement rather than an inherent trait.

Based on last week's preview, Casterly Rock is happening this episode.

Generally speaking, humans aren't good with probability. It is the same reason everyone got mad at Nate Silver after Trump's election when Silver's predictions were dead on (I knew as soon as Florida started coming in that Clinton was in deep doodoo, based on the 538 analysis).

"Call the banners," as they say in Westeros. The armies are made of all the individual noble households (knights, trained fighters) plus their levied serfs (grunts). You put out the call, get them all together, and then march out. A big logistical mess full of opportunities for petty grudges or outright betrayal.

Striking names off a list of people who have wronged you is pretty much the exact opposite of having no ego. The Many-Faced God apparently wants to see what happens when someone just cuts loose for a change.

I thought he would finally create an undead dragon lich, but it wasn't to be.

This comment or a slightly altered version is in every single GoT-related comment thread. It's like a compulsion or something, I guess.

Well, FWIW we are talking thousands of miles and months of travel. Check out this overlay of Westeros/Essos over Europe to get a sense of scale. Westeros is like a mini-continent, bigger than India. Not that it really matters, only if you really want to get into the details of the war gaming.
