I guess that is why he needed to take a ship, he must know where Gendry is rowing.

They also have to dig themselves out of the hole Martin is digging for himself. Part of the fan-service resolutions come from the fact that given his druthers Martin will go to his grave having established absolutely no act three for these characters.

Honestly I am mostly following Strong Belwas, trying not to fall too much farther behind. This week is a big make-or-break, I'll either pull ahead or find myself mid-pack.

I think of him as lil' Patton Oswalt.

Or, as I mentioned in my other post, the person dying is a Bear Islander.

I think they mean, the 62 warriors from Bear Island die (grizzly deaths) and a lot of time in Mereen (just deserts).

Or anyone, ever? It's the kind of thing a world-weary "no one" might say, when they feel they are finally putting down their burden of taking lives.

The only problem with that is he has a motive and "no one expects a man without a motive" is his primary motive, apparently.

What kills me is that comment (what's past Westeros) made so much sense as something a gut-stabbed, dying Jaqen might say. It makes no sense as something Arya would say, to me at least.

Right?! Given all of the unsourced "truths" thrown around in the comments, and not having an encyclopedic knowledge of the books, it's hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Although, I guess that is also why he is the last giant.

I agree, that really stands out in the preview as a kinda dumb battle strategy. I guess he is just used to killing unarmored wildlings with makeshift weaponry.

I think ice dragons are only mentioned in a GRRM book that is not set in the world of Ice and Fire.

Unlikely. Sometimes people are just crazy.

I agree there should have been Mereen odds as well.

It is named characters only. However, last episode they counted some characters who are only really named in the books. So be forewarned.
