It doesn't make any sense to update the port, and not update the interface. Instead of there being the 30-pin usb 2.0 connection, and a 19 pin usb 3.0 cable there will be three when they eventually update to 3.0 or thunderbolt.

The title is hilarious to me because I only got infringement notices when downloading from Demonoid. Sure like 4/5 were from HBO shows but still.
