I won't ever outgrow gratuitous nudity.

You have a couple of weeks (maybe 30 days?) to return it, no questions asked. My wife got herself & her mom a couple android phones on Sprint and they didn't like them and returned them after a week to Best Buy.

I got all excited and decided to give CyanogenMod another try and BAM! - "502 Bad Gateway" error when you try to go to [download.cyanogenmod.com]

yep, synergy communicates over tcp/ip so if they can't communicate, then it won't work.

We save money by buying beer, milk & meats. Considering I can get a case of DFH 60 Minute IPA for $30 or other premiums (sierra nevada, Abita, etc) for $20-22 a case it's a pretty killer deal. We do the $100 costco membership, but that pays for itself with the cash back at the end of the year.

Thanks for the tip, I mostly manage AIX & Linux boxes so I dont' need to RDP too much, but CoRD looks slick.

But there's more to life than hockey tips and keeping your Molsen cold...

My software selection on OS X is much better now than a few years ago even, but there are still a few products I wish I had (vSphere Client, Visio, etc). At least we have a decent RDP client when I'm in a pinch.

I've never gotten any measure of stability from CyanogenMod v6 stable releases. Look & feature wise it was my favorite ROM, but my Evo would reboot every couple of hours, especially when making/taking calls.

I disagree with many here that state that draconian DRM is a license to pirate. If you bought a copy, then prefer to use a pirated copy, I have no problem with that, but honestly who's doing this? No one I know.

All of the questions in the "decade" category gave Watson problems. And Jennings said "20's", Watson said "1920's" (or vice versa) - the decades were a hole in it's logic.

I hate bookmarks and remembering all of these different websites for one off things just isn't possible. I just google - "movies: zipcode"

I use SSH as a SOCKS proxy when I'm at work. I have a Slicehost VPS linux server that runs SSH on a port that allows outbound traffic (since our firewalls don't allow outbound port 22 traffic I run my SSH server on port 80). Then I setup Firefox and Adium to use my local proxy (ssh -fN -D 8888 -p80 mysvr.com) on

IPv6 was created in a time before DHCP, NAT and private address spaces. Running out of IPv4 addresses was more of a problem in the mid-late 90's than it is now. If you go back and read RFCs like 1375 & 1627 from the early 90's you'd think that the sky was falling, but here we are almost 20 years later with

@Stevox: No need to promote. What has New Zealand ever done for anyone (besides the LotR Trilogy)? Exactly. You have to EARN those streaming music options, you lazy kiwi bastards.

This is what I hate about f'in android apps - going to try this Alchemy game:

If the cable companies were smart they would start bundling Tivo Premieres instead of these shitty generic Scientific Atlanta & Motorola set top DVRs with a UI straight out of 1999.

@Sleepy English Bro: I think you meant "snickers" you mistakenly racist bastard ;-)
