It’s target demographic doesn’t put a lot of miles on - as witnessed by the odometer reading - and the difference in mileage between this and a Camry is NOT that much - even a 4 cyl Camry - and the difference in price will pay for a lot of fuel. (30MPG Canadian is not difficult at all on the highway if you want a leisu…
The interior may be small for the size of the car, but the trunk can almost be used as a camper - - - -
The owner likely had a roached out F150 4X4 for the snow driving
Sounds like a close relative of the Nissan Versa / Note - I guess because it is. The last “good” Renault was the the R12 - and I’m stretching the definition of “Good” a bit. I rallyed a 73 R12 and it never broke on a rallye - but it sure was a strange piece of French engineering - and that was BEFORE it got infested…
Particularly the SR5 version. As long as you didn’t need more ground clearance they would go anywhere. They even came with standard inclinometer.
I drove one for a few weeks. A cross between a Morris Minor and an army tank.
Don’t take a Niva farther than you are willing to walk out before replacing EVERY BEARING with a non-oem replacement. A friend had the tranny rebuilt 3 times under warranty - and the third time he supplied the replacement bearings - sourced from a local industrial bearing supplier - and he never had to touch the tranny…
That’s why I sold my motorcycle about 25 years ago. My daughters were approaching their teens and traffic was getting heavier and there were more serious and/or fatal motorcycle accidents - most caused by in-attentive automobile and truck drivers - and someone made me a reasonable offer for my ancient cb350. Sometimes…
And the reliability of any Nissan is on a par with a Jag
It’s Has-beens and wanna-bees. - or real estate agents and “financial planners”
An OLD Sonata at that - my first impression when I saw the tail-lights
ReMax real estate agent from the eighties?
It’s all the FanBois who “know what they’ve got”. They value their “Bimmers” or “Beemers” more highly than the general public and/or car dealers. Even when their cars are pure JUNK. The cars generally circulate among that FanBoi community who value the modified “special” BMWs.
60 inch belt??? Would explain the seat condition. The miles don’t bother me - but it’s a GM. Even well maintained doesn’t make it a Ford (or a Toyota) and I either want a full sized truck or a compact. The Canyon and the New Ranger are neither

Losing the planned-for Wankel made it something of a compromize - but definitely NOT a bad car. I had a ‘75 6 cyl and it’s biggest fault was it was too heavy
And the new Ranger. why only Quad Cabs that are just ugly sedans with no lid on the trunk????
Sounds like a new Studebaker WagonAire
Dart’s big problem was everybody knew it was an Alfa Romeo - aka a “Fancy Fiat”. The “Fix It Again Tony” line kinda killed it.
