I never understand most people’s love of Skyfall. The final act is essentially spliced in from an unused Home Alone sequel. Plus, it takes a Bond that had been establishing himself as a new agent in the previous movies, and stuffs in “getting too old for this” theme.

Yeah, copious amounts of alcohol, the victory, and the recent promotion to Lord of the Stormlands easily explain him getting out over his skis with Arya.

I’m sure if the media calmly explains that it was caused by a purple guy from the planet of Titan with a magic glove, people will accept that and move forward without any widespread histeria.

I think most of us were figuring Cap and Tony were the among the most likely to die going to die (besides Vision) going into the movie. T’challa and Peter had the most plot armor. Doing the opposite was a nice little subversion of expectations.

Yes, but hopefully Gollum jumps on him and bites the Gauntlet off before that happens

Baelish’s military commander (assume you mean Royce) was only there because Petyr controlled little Robyn Aryn, and couldn’t stand Littlefinger. This was a great opportunity for him to be rid of him without having to take part in it and have to explain why he did so back in the Vale.

Yeah, I just pictured Royce and the northern lords going “wait, we’re taking the crazy Stark kid’s word as evidence? Even though there is no way he could’ve have that information? ... you know what? Fuck Littlefinger. He probably did shit anyway.”
