This is fucking insane. I’m done. I can’t take this anymore.

Most of us love you and welcome you, this is true, please hold on to that. I am so sorry that this is happening. It makes me so angry, I feel so helpless. Please be safe.

Me and my dad when I was fairly new, the first of three daughters. He got me my very first stuffed animal (a T-Rex), taught me how to drive and to always order steak rare. Has never been an open book, prefers to drop bombs (“I took tap dancing lessons when I was young” or upon seeing a poster for Led Zeppelin at the

My dog also seems to be afraid of stairs but only the ones in our house. I think it’s because they lead to Cat Land 😳.

The first week we had our dog he basically stayed in the space between the couch and coffee table. When we adopted him they said that adapting to his new home would happen in threes: 3 days to “detox” from the shelter, 3 weeks to feel familiar in his new surroundings and 3 months to feel truly settled. I bet a lot of

Fuck I’m late. You guys, this week has been such shit. My sister’s cat died. Important things to note here, she was my cat first (until she and sister fell in love) and she was the best cat ever. Don’t tell my other cats. Seriously, the most beautiful, friendliest, most vivacious little thing. She was only 7 and was

I wish you had super powers to zap people back in time (and would use such powers in a responsible way as to not change the entire course of history). That way, you would have been able to answer that Republican’s request with a grin and a wink, plop him back into the Victorian gutter for a time and then whisk him

I noticed that as well :/

First Anne, now Poirot?? I will not continue to watch my favorite characters be brought to life as ridiculous caricatures. It’s too much. Thank goodness David Suchet’s Poirot is still on Netflix. I’m going to go watch that and pretend I never saw this.

Ahhh what a perfect plot for a movie! Lorde, a good witch, floats around bringing good fortune to deserving humans ( a young cashier who has taken a job to help her family, an earnest but gullible young busker from the sticks who has had her dreams dashed by a con man pretending to be an agent, an aspiring

That’s so useful!!

It’s sunny for the first time in awhile and it’s like the vitamin D has melted all of my bones! I was going to clean and get organized and work on my DONA application but I am warm and sleepy and it feels good to sit on the couch.

Yeah, bear was like “Ooh you have weird legs, but I can go fast too! See? I can run! Wheeee.”

I love them! I don’t know what it is, maybe I was Irish in a past life (when I visited Dublin for the first time I felt an ache like I was coming back to a place I had been homesick for, which is an odd sensation to feel for a place you’ve never been.)

I love the Walsh family. I want to live in their neighborhood and get invited over for dinner.

It is!! My favorites are The Other Side of the Story (lovely and all the loose ends get tied up in the most satisfying way) and This Charming Man (also tragic but wonderfully written and ultimately full of vengeance!).

Hahaha I know what you mean. I find all of them enjoyable but a couple are definitely on the saccharine side. The only one I actively dislike is The Woman Who Stole My Life because the main character is so passive the whole damn time and things just happen to her and she never stands up for herself. It is a departure

Awesome! It took my cats a really long time to warm up to my roommate’s cat, and they’re finally hanging out together (thrown together by the introduction of the dog, no doubt).

I love anything by Mariane Keyes, particularly The Other Side of the Story and This Charming Man. She is fantastic because she writes about real issues but in a way that is extraordinarily easy to read, and her characters are funny and warm and lovely.
