Other than CoD’s party system, are there any other franchises right now that do split-screen online multiplayer? I’m trying to find a multi game to play with the Mrs. but she’s not a huge CoD fan.
another one to add...as of right now, XCOM 2 is 20 dollars off for physical copy on Amazon

DON’T DATE ROBOTS!
SHC is a clumsy acronym for a unit of measurement. I propose we change it to “Faheys”...Sort of like Pascals...
How do you not know how to poach an egg? Seriously, it’s like Eggs 101...
Going to try to get back into Elder Scrolls Online now that IC, Orsinium, and Thieves Guild are live. Bought it launch day for PS4 but for some reason it didn't grab me. Maybe it was because I played a resto staff healer (snore)...
Forget that, watching these makes me pine for a Saturday morning cartoon series based on Overwatch animated in the same style...
Spoiler alert: Nobody’s guilty because all crimes are Obama’s fault...also, something something punk-ass thuggery...
If you would please take a seat on the casting couch...
More importantly, who the funk & wagnalls are the 6% that said only on mobile? You are what’s wrong with modern gaming...
Somebody please make me a gif of Ted Cruz’s face on Kermit the Frog doing the Kermit flail...
The Secret World (a game ahead of its time and a world worthy of revisit) had a system where stats were connected to non-cosmetics. This is such a flexible and sensible system I do not understand how it has not become the standard.
In other news, water is still wet...
No problem, bro...I got to spread the gospel of WiC so my work here is done. If you can still find an active server, the pvp is pretty phenomenal although now, most players are salty grognards who whine if you use too much artillery...
If you can, get the Soviet Assault version of WiC. It integrates a short Soviet campaign into the main campaign that manages to successfully humanize the Soviet side of the story. Seriously, it's damn quality writing (for an RTS)
WiC’s story is great because even though a Soviet invasion of the US is a pretty unbelievable situation in general, WiC at least gives the story context and keeps the scope relatively realistic. For example, in COD:MW2, the Russians just sort of appear all over the east coast. WiC gives background as to how such an…
World in Conflict (imo the game which has done the US-under-invasion storyline the best still to date) rationalizes a similar situation by making the town the gateway to Ft. Teller, command center for “Star Wars.” This makes sense. Red Dawn never explains why the Russians considered the town strategic. Heck, if I was…
Even more realism-breaking for me ( full disclosure: I love the movie) is later when it seems like the entire Soviet army is in their town. Seems strategically questionable to commit a bazillion men and tanks to occupy one small town in Colorado...
I regret that I have but one star to give you...
