Nope. Too too much time for me to narrow it down. I guess I can eliminate the Vapor Trails album since there were no real solos there.

Thanks AVClub for the Classic Rock 101. How original! But, seriously, thanks to the 1 or 2 staff that picked something I've not heard a gajillion times to get me to go and listen to something new (to me) and inspiring.

I really hope there is some Alex Lifeson love in the comments.

Woof - A lot of nu-metal in here for the haters. Usually, my iPod does a fine enough job of shuffling that stuff up.

Hey man! I got 5 kids to feed!

This is really the only satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.

I really like their first and second. Don't care much for the third even though that's where this one track came from. I don't think there's much to miss with their reunion. However, I do recommend checking out their frontman's recentish project Silent Civilian.

I've actually not read a lot of his stuff. I started commenting on AV Club a little bit before his original departure as a writer.

I get that…now. I wasn't aware this was a column. Just seems like a strange idea that doesn't accomplish anything and pokes at something already dead in the water.

Ok - I don't know anything about the guy other than that he was in the aforementioned shows. But…geez - Rabin, did this guy eat your family recently that you have to write a damning response to a 21 year old book? So he's a pompous ass. I think the last 15 years of his career serve well enough to prove that the guy

I think that the Todd La Torre variant of Queensryche ended up being the victor in that situation. The albums that version have put out are really good.
