Interesting. I got an email yesterday from Backify saying that they were no longer doing free accounts after 11/22, which seemed like an especially short time to cut people loose. I really didn't have anything there that wasn't being backed up by Mozy, and I really didn't care, so I threw it in the spam folder, I

I've just set the Caps Lock key to be another CTRL key.

I live on the Florida east coast. Figuring where to get some water that isn't polluted... Not easy.

Damn. I open up Reader this evening, and the damn links are now marked blue. Is Google reading this?

+1 for the wasted space. I'm sure that somebody likes it, but certainly not me.

VOTE: Google Reader

My wife's been making iced tea this way for decades.

So instead, we'll just bittorrent it.

Yeah, I was going to point that out as well. Not that I've ever been that close to the building (I don't think I've even managed to get inside, although I worked in Three Nationwide for a bit).

Not a biggie, but I will have to relearn that.

And I can't type with one hand, even since I owned a RAZR, I think it's quite apt. The only exception would probably be my Palm, but then, I have to use a stylus for that.

Yeah, the audio might be an issue. Then again, my current MP3 player isn't that big. And while I could use my Palm TX to listen to music at the same time, I don't, because that's still a pretty good battery drain.

I've got a whole Palm library at my disposal, so it's not like I need to have Amazon for buying media to read.

So does having a keyboard that's only the width of a single hand make real sense?

How long until this gets hacked?

There are so many names for this folder. I've seen three different recycle bin folders on one portable hard drive before. And then to get rid of them and find out you've got a ton of disk space that's just become available.

I've been looking at the Barnes and Noble Nook Touch (interesting...). Basically, the Nook Touch and Kindle Touch are both at the same price point. The Nook only has 2GB compared to the 4GB of the Kindle, but I haven't read about anyway to add memory to the Kindle, while the Nook offers a SDHC slot. Which is why

Can't login (I know the password), and the password reset is hopelessly broken, the link keeps saying that the reset has already been used, when it hasn't. It's a pretty bad fail right now.

OK, I've already got four accounts setup with Facebook. I didn't even remember that happening.

The problem I've seen is, logging off (and actually shutting down as well), under both a laptop and a VM, seems to take forever. I could log off, and log back on (and be done loading everything) on my rather loaded desktop in the times I've seen. I haven't gone through the event logs to see if something is managing
