To be fair, the school probably has an IT staff who warned that the measures being taken were insufficient, but got ignored. All the people who understand tech in the world won't help if you refuse to heed their counsel.

I think the point was they've grown up with technology like this. OF COURSE they understand it better than the less-knowledgeable administration who thought it would be a simple matter to keep the kids from using it frivolously.
Hell yea, this looks WAY better than the crappy reboot from 2006. Looks like they're finally doing superman the right way.
