Otherwise there’s the handpoke option, which means no machine (I do perform this style) if you ask me, I’ll avoid the paper clip as a needle, guess finding a proper one shouldn’t be hard as thickness could mess the artwork. And maybe a rotary motor from a tooth brush machine .... Sounds smooth...
