The reason is because after Halo 3 the devs behind the game completely changed the formula and gameplay of the series, thus pretty much killing its entire competitive community.

And with G4 in the books, Armada is unquestionably the greatest as well as the most accomplished Melee player of all time. Nice write up Cecilia!

Halo 3 is great, but the multiplayer and gameplay mechanics were such a huge step back from the previous two instalments.

They also did a GameCube SSBM cutout recently which genuinely made me interested and go to Arby’s the day after.
