I think it was hilarious that while Effie was complaining via voiceover about no black guests being cast, they were showing (at least) three black guests sitting right in front of the father and mother as they were giving their speech.

That part about the foster parents and "legal reasons" why he can't discuss his early life almost convince me that I heard "mommy" right, and this is about killing his real parents. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's "an ihn heranschleichen"(sneak up to him), and not "ihren Kranz schleissen". Also, I think he says "Nicht wiederstehen!"(Don't resist!) instead of "Nicht wille stehen!"
