Do you use your “phone” more for actual phone calls? Or for texting, shooting photos, shooting video, snapchatting, watching movies, watching youtube, etc? You can barely call the things we carry around in our pockets a “phone” anymore. They’re computers. And thankfully we have wrists that move and opposable thumbs...

Seems like all the effort to buy back all the cars and then just destroy/recycle them is just as terrible for the environment as VW’s emissions cheat in the first place. The cars are already built, the massive carbon footprint made in their manufacturing and transport to various markets can’t be undone. Recycling

Then you’ll be happy to know our next engine rebuild time-lapse video is a Hemi! Stay tuned.

Thanks for the write-up, Tavarish! We’re having a lot of fun shooting and putting together the show. We’re heading to Maine next week with hopes of finding some more awesome stuff. And to anyone who thinks we’re staging or faking stuff, well... we aren’t! We legitimately just pick a location, go there for a few days

It’s cool and all, but the video is obviously sped up. Needs some Benny Hill music to accompany it.

Facebook’s square aspect ratio is a bummer. However, you should think about getting one of those cheap little wide-angle lens adapters for your phone. The field of view is too narrow and it’s hard to see what’s going on, especially when you’re inside the car. Most of them clip on and off, so you could use it as needed

Yeah, that’s the worst thing ever.

Needs an AWD option!! I don’t understand why the Sienna is the only minivan with an AWD option. Some of us live in places where it snows for 6 months out of the year. I wish Ford made the Flex with sliding doors and stowable seats.

I feel like a lot of people are commenting here without having actually watched the video. The front vehicle WAS passing cars and did the correct thing by allowing the vehicle on the on-ramp to his right to merge into traffic. It’s so freaking obvious that he saw the car coming and remained in the left lane. I think

How can Subaru, FCA and Mazda not afford R&D for an EV? I thought Elon Musk made all his Tesla stuff open source so anybody can use the technology. I mean, I know they’d have to modify plants to actually build EVs and that would cost a good bit of money, but it seems like the technology is there for the taking. Lack

Nothing like charging your “clean” EV with electricity made at a coal-burning power plant...

In this case, it’s devolving...

Dad of the Year.

You win.

“Retired”

No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.

Love the Brigadoon reference. I wonder how many people on this website have actually seen that movie?

1.1G of acceleration?! So lemme get this straight... If a Tesla Model S started down a 1/4-mile track and I jumped off a 1/4-mile high building at the same time, the Tesla would finish its race before I went splat?

I had one of these in high school. It was my dad’s but he had trouble getting in and out of it because it’s so low. It’s a really fun car to drive and handles rather well. I’d call it quick, but not fast. More fun for smooth back roads than the highway. It’s very light, so the little 4 cylinder is fine. Two or three
