I actually kind of like this show

Yeah, Just because you are now able to film every mediocre idea you and Simon Pegg had when you were 23, doesn't mean you should. The shit is, he keeps getting better and better as a director but the scripts remain stagnant. I don't want to see Baby Driver in theaters because I doubt I'll enjoy it, but I WANT Wright

Outside of Spaced and Shaun of the Dead, Edgar Wright is an amazing director who consistently tackles mediocre to bad material.

My wife was furious this movie is not called Polteroid

I love that the movie The Boy is essentially like a Wes Anderson directed spinoff of Chucky's son from that movie

It's goddamn terrific!

"introduced and then abandoned within two episodes"

DM'd my first ever D&D game Saturday night. Bought the 5e starter set the previous weekend on a whim and played with the wife and another friend of ours. We had all played before but years and years ago so we were essentially going into this blind with only me having read the rules a few days beforehand while making

Oh, can't forget Delirious! He plays the best Jason character is you ask me.

They both also have decades old associations with Nasty Boys

The sweater is in FRONT of his mother's rotting head. There are also additional rotting corpses on the altar around her. They spent a lot of time on the details.

The Ohmwrecker / Bryce/ Malika / Gorillaphant streams are a delight

You can also sneak into his cabin without Jason being alerted if you have the mask in order to get the sweater

Even if it was an accident (you miss shooting Jason, etc.)?

Really? That's stupid.

Love watching let's plays of this game. If the players are decent, it's definitely like watching a mini F13th movie every time. Some scenarios I've seen would be great additions to the franchise (counselors killing each other to get the last seat in the car, Jason making deals with counselors for them to kill each

Update: found the 5E starter set on sale at a B&N this weekend. I think I've rallied some friends to figure out how to play. Let it begin!

Watched an episode or two of it and couldn't really take the hosts. The guy constantly vaping was the least annoying one, shockingly.

I have not heard of that podcast but if the hosts are anything like any of the youtube series or other rpg podcast hosts I've listened to/ watched, I assume they are also completely repellant?

Yeah, I was recommended a few sci-fi titles by people on here. The one I dug into was Stars Without Number. That seemed pretty cool / free.
