So it sounds like he acknowledged in their conversation that he should have contacted her in advance. Classic “better to ask for forgiveness than permission”. So much entitlement behind that way of thinking.

It’s weird that she chose to single out Go Fug Yourself instead of Lainey Gossip, who also hated her outfit. Lainey has a history of giving her very positive coverage though, so I guess she figured she couldn’t bite the hand that feeds her. This seems misguided. GFY isn’t mean spirited. They just critique outfits.…

Even if she is being ‘held against her will’ it would probably be because she needs that level of intervention in the short term. There’s a very high bar for sectioning people in my area/experience. Sadly people in the middle of a mental health crisis are not always great at judging what is best for them.

Honestly in retrospect I agree with him. The way she was mocked in the middle of an obvious mental health crisis was horrifying.

It’s also easy to be high on life when you’re born never having to worry about paying your cell phone bill, or how you’re going to deal with your student loans, and to basically have success handed to you. Also, I don’t believe him for a second.
