“Truncate” isn’t used correctly in this headline. It means to cut off at the beginning or end, and if there’s 13 hours of footage that was shot it’s not clear that it was in fact the first 18 minutes or the last 18 minutes that aired. I don’t like nitpicking but I also don’t want to spread misuse of this word.
