This was me up until a few weeks ago. I bought a 1971 240Z and had to teach myself stick. It's fun, but I'm not great at it, and I want to do some major work to it before I get some serious milage out of it.

As a younger car guy(27) almost none of my friends had/have cars, let alone ones with a clutch. I was always the wheelman and all my cars were auto out of nesessity.
This was me up ‘till a few weeks ago. Growing up we didn’t have a stick shift car for me to be taught on, and until I bought my 240Z all my vehicles were chosen for me.
A hot take coming from a man who drives a VW Beetle unironically. No, an iconic meh car is the Delorean DMC-12, any BMW or Audi, and anything high end Italian. Sure the Bel Air is the 'Old man classic' but I'd rather drive it than anything I listed above, at least it has character.
CP on the body style alone. Audis always seem too meh for me to lust after, even if they can throw some impressive numbers down.
Shoulda been Charging his way down to Daytona or Laser focused on getting to Plymoth Rock instead of Road Running in North Carolina. Now he has a first class seat on a Caravan to county jail.
Looks like a custom Hot Wheels toy. Hell, if Mattel was smart they’d buy it and use it for promotions at toy and car conventions. Anyone else, Cheese Pizza.
Not a fan of The Fancy Toyota, but decent price for the money. NP for someone looking for a dolled up Corolla
He isn't a car guy, he just likes to exploit them
Suspension, intake, and exhaust give me red fkags. Someone wouldn’t throw those on there if they didn’t want to hoon it, even on the occasion
Mazda cars don’t do much for me outside of the RX-7, and I wouldn't be surprised if this has been hooned hard. CP for me.
That’s true, but I have known people who had budgets that were that tight for their yearly expenses. Mind you they were not enthusiasts by any means, but they did calculate their average usage down that much when they were car shopping. For me, if I have a fun car it’s just a fun car, not the daily commuter that can…
Steady, practical, and economic? Hell yes
Because that extra fuel economy adds up when you have to buy more with less. If income and inflation had kept up with each other this would be less of an issue
A bit high(I’d start negotiating at $2,000) but not terrible. A decent kid's first car or a winter beater, NP. If it were RWD it'd be a no contest NP.
I'd rather have the Toyota though...S2000 a close second. Deutch cars don't do anything for me
No, the Fox looks like shit either way. This though, is nice
I grew up there, and I have to say fuck most of the people in the city. Still have family there so I’ll visit occasionally, but I am happy the people of Fort Collins are somewhat more reasonable.
I’m from C Springs(live in Fort Collins now) and growing up my parents always bitched about how much of a shithole Pueblo is. I grow up and get to visit on my accord, and I have to say they were right about some things, but overall it's nice. Plus Chili fest next month!
I visited last year to see Gorillaz play the Key Arena. Seattle has some cool things but I was mostly unimpressed. I dug the weather though
