The comment board/cyber hacking is the social response. And I happen to think it is one of the most thoughtful pieces of art I've experienced, without even watching the video. There is no better way to show the disgusting opinions about rape victims than to lure them out and let them speak for themselves.

I think the art is more than the video, but the commentary around the video. Watching the video explains that you will be participating in her rape, either from a position of empathy (which it sounds like you are) or scrutiny (the entire comment board) or skepticism or curiosity. It is what you do with her

My thoughts exactly. A totally conscious decision to include a comments board. I also think there is something interesting about publishing to the Internet and the idea of consent. Just because something is on the Internet, do we think we have some right to it? Even if the video is vulnerable and “not even encrypted”
