Rule of thumb would be if the graphics card number has the second number below 5 for Nvidia (Ex: GTX940) or below 6 for AMD(Ex: R7-250) those cards aren’t meant for gaming. You would want a Geforce 960m minimum, and that card is not as strong as the desktop 960.

Those games have optional microtransactions. As far as I know, TF2 doesn’t have microtransactions, at least at launch.
