Started "Inside" yesterday. (Did we already talk about Inside? I've been too busy to read the site any more. Edit. we have. so…fuck it.) It's one of those games that you can't say anything about because any details about the content gives the entire thing away. The mechanics are some of the most solid of any

I should check out if they lowered the price on the Cities Skylines Winter Wonderland (or whatever they call it) DLC. It seemed so meager, but the snow aesthetic is quite nice.

Growing up, I could only play Sonic on the demo Genesis at Target. Since I only had an NES throughout childhood, it seemed like I was missing out. So when the PS2 had that Sonic Mega Collection, I bought it outright and prepared to play the shit out of all those awesome Sonic games I missed.

I forget where I read this but someone, in regards to that Ghost Recon demo, asked "who actually says 'Tango Down' when playing co-op?"

I have always considered the first Mafia game as one of my all-time favorites. At its time, it had a big open world in which you had very little to do. But so did every one else making that style of game. The world served as a way to get you from "level" to "level" with the open world intending to immerse you. And

After Mafia 2, I'm going to give this one a lot of scrutiny. I realize the Mafia games are primarily story driven and just happen to take place in an open world game. This worked fine for the first one as the genre was new and it actually did something new and unique for the time. (gutsy move putting in speeding

I love that stomach-in-your-throat feeling you get when you fall from tall places in games. The Titanfall 2 release trailer had a scene where you and your mech thingie are dropped from near-space to the planet. I really hope they include that action at least once in a playable portion of the game.

Same with me, it'd be my 3rd purchase too. (first was stolen, second was on PC for the mods which I never installed)

I've been playing through Dragons Dogma PC release recently. I tried it on the console a long time back but ultimately found myself just playing something else instead. After giving it another chance, I'm about where I was when I left off (level 25 or so) and I'm remembering that there isn't really as much to the game

I'll be dead in my grave before I recognize physics

I was just researching getting a 4k computer monitor and all that entails and ran across a number of charts that showed when the eye loses the ability to perceive 4k vs 1080p. Depending on how far away you sit and how large of screen, you really won't notice the difference.

But if you bought a license on windows 10, you have windows. They want you on windows 10 verrrrry badly (for reasons I haven't quite fully seen). It's like they have an amazon-prime like product in the future they want to roll everyone into.

I have a suspicion that Battlefront went WAY over budget. Indeed, it is Star Wars and some gouging is to be expected, but something about the tech they used (that Physical Based Rendering they were hyping up) gives me an impression that there were a lot of cost overruns.

"Al Gore is now spamming my facebook feed, and I'm not strong enough to defeat him yet." Every time I read something about Stick of Truth, I learn of some new detail. This one may be the one that gets me to finally play this game.

SE has been doing a bang up job of withholding upcoming platform releases. As much as I'd like to finally get a change to play FF 12, I'm not going to buy a PS4 for it. And you know what, I feel pretty safe in my assumption it'll be on Steam before the end of 2017

Yah, the few rounds I've done with him were very satisfying.

I've been doing this a lot more. I only play Lucio on capture maps and I often find myself as the only player in position to capture the point. He does not capture points alone very well.

For what it's worth, I've got about 20 hours or so in on the Xbone and I've only had ONE instance of actual douchebaggery* where a guy messaged me on my inability to read his mind and deduce his strategy after a round in which everybody on our team sucked.
(*caveat, i don't use voice channels)

Lucio's healing boost when in healing "aura" is very good at keeping people up even under sustained fire.
