Since it takes so long to really get going, I'd say no. If you've got a lot of other stuff you're enjoying, you won't miss this one.

I wish that devs would iron those things out internally as I feel that quality often should be a higher priority than pure profit.
Oh very much so, especially if things are reused. However, doing a customer-responsive release tends to get things out sooner and then its iterated on. Bugs tend to be fixed when other features arrive. Case in point: Just Cause 3's had crappy performance since launch. Dev's say they've got a fix coming…in January.…
So, I've got a general gaming related thing that I read about and was irritated, but conflicted by. I'm getting really tired of the internet circle-jerk when it comes to perceptions of how gamers should be treated as customers. There's this new game, Stardew Valley, which is a labor of love type game made by one…
I've still been putting some time into Guild Wars 2 and now that I've been at max level a while, I am struggling a bit with how MMO-ish it still is. I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, but the time leveling require zero teamwork and I enjoyed the time where I'd hop into a group world event to take something…
I think the only place where JC3 is better than 2 is:
I wasn't until I read some new article from a couple days ago that had actual details of how the game plays. I'm still not super excited, but it sounds like a nice way to putz an hour or two away on a slow tv night.
It occurred to me that with this HD re-release of Twilight Princess, I haven't seen or played a Zelda game in 10 years. I had no interest in Skyward Sword after hearing about it, and I don't own any handhelds. So, I suppose I'm done with them? Fat chance. If that new one comes out on the NX, I'm all in.
I was reading a retrospective on the first few hours of Twilight Princess and just remembering how slow it starts killed any sort of enthusiasm I had about ever playing the HD re-release. The first time I played it, I had a failed start at it that took 3 months to get back into because that stupid goat herding.
Current era Square Enix is pushing my limits much like those other two examples. They're the first publisher, in a long time, where I see their logo and hesitate on purchase. Just Cause 3 was the final nail. What a complete piece of shit.
I've never played this mode but it reminds me a lot of the Bombing Run mode from Unreal Tournament 2004. I don't think there had been a shooter / ball sport game mode before that.
XNA? holy crap that's still around?
Oh man, hearing about a MOO reboot has got me reminiscing about torturing my friend back when MOO 3 was in development but obviously having production issues. He spent far more time than one should reading about it and being part of the community.
I would entirely expect the new comments appearing at the top in real-time to be a configurable option. That feature being what brought it crashing down surprised me.
I think it depends on "bloat". For me, the thousands of things to do/collect isn't so much where I get bored, but the sheer amount of traveling from point A to B for the thousandth time. MGSV has a ton of traveling. It doesn't have as much of the "collect shit" and the open world is better described as a network of…
The Division was boring. Granted, I never found time to try a Dark Zone, but I was already so bored by it, I didn't think anything could bring it back.
Experimenting with technologies and IDEs seem to always lead me back to the same conclusion: if you can't write it in visual studio, it's not going to be an enjoyable experience. *glares angrily at IntelliJ*
As a person that grew up on an actual farm, having all that mechanical stuff work out well is quite enjoyable. I am always amazed that they keep making a simulation of an occupation that can be basically broken down into repairing things and driving very slowly. How about giving me a farming sim from before the…
Cloudwatch
It's probably too on the nose, but I'd just say it's when your partner falls asleep during sex.
