Money made from college athletics does not, in any way, go towards academics so that argument is null. It is solely a business. That's why the highest paid government employees in the majority of states are college football coaches. If money went to academics I can see your logic, but it doesn't.

The speed really depends on the size of the image you're taking. Shooting with a DSLR, I find it pretty much worthless EXCEPT I can leave my camera on when I return home and it will automatically [slowly] transfer photos to my computer. You can't expect to take a picture and have it pop up on your computer a minute…

But this looks muuuuuuch better and having a room that small with a regular door would be probably feel pretty claustrophobic..
