Okay, smart photographer. Try taking a picture of more than one person in lowlight with your ridiculously narrow depth of field. If you're lucky, you might get two people's eyes in focus! Like I said, an external flash is a better investment.

This is also a pretty poor work around for low light because of the laughably narrow DoF that it produces. If you are shooting at 1.4, the subjects nose will be in focus but their cheek won't be. A better solution is to grab a SB 600 and learn how to use it IMO
You are correct. On a crop sensor your 50mm lens will be roughly the equivalent of an 85mm lens. A 35mm is roughly 50mm.
Wrong. That 50mm lens is actually about 85mm on your crop sensor camera. If you want a walk around lens for a crop sensor, 35mm will give you roughly what a 50mm would on a full frame or film camera.
Leave it to the Brits to create such lame explosions.
If you were using analog SLRs in the past, get a basic DSLR. You can get a d3100 with an 18-55 and a 70-3oomm lens for well under 500. Simple, great quality pics, and not too hefty
So, it's expensive as a DSLR, no more pocketable than a DSLR, and has lesser picture quality? Thanks but get dafuq out of town. This is a dumb camera.
Most side by sides are electric? That is bananas.
Why does John need a full box of staplers??
I LOVE that ad!
Sarah Palin?
That was great but I was pretty thrown off by the weird sex scene thrown in the middle. Anyone else?
Money made from college athletics does not, in any way, go towards academics so that argument is null. It is solely a business. That's why the highest paid government employees in the majority of states are college football coaches. If money went to academics I can see your logic, but it doesn't.
Okay but a student-athlete (in this case) is not allowed to go pro and make money.
The Rose Bowl is a BCS bowl. Read my comment again. And yea, a free education is great but there are a lot of players that are being educated in football and not learning much of anything else. To put it in perspective, Texas' football team makes like 63 million dollars a year which is generated off of…
They are just an excuse to further exploit college athletes. The regular season is over, come play in our completelymeaningless games (except for the BCS bowls) so that we can make Ca$$$$$$$$$h.
It's not just private companies that are going for the prize. Penn State University has already booked its flight for 2015.
Going off-list with me is not recommended
The D3200 is $639. What am I missing?
