My high school wrestling team had yearly "Gun and Turkey Raffles." It was pretty damn redneck but they made/still make 10k a year. It was a tiny high school and other sports were raising $1,000-2,000 a year. Guns=gold.

I know a ton of kids that I went to high school with that would do this. (I went to a shitty high school.) But kids would just take the cds out of the case and walk out. No sensors, pretty easy stuff.
