I was not aware of this Tom Hiddleston, but from this small sample size he does seem like a pretty cool dude. Always good to know that famous actors aren't also total dicks.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Episode 9 is the Battle of Castle Black. I think it's much more likely that Tyrion-Tywin-Shae is one of the final scenes of the season.

This logic never makes sense to me. "It's a fantasy show with direwolves and dragons, so why should characters behave like normal people?"

The trial by combat is definitely not next week. Episode 8 is titled "The Mountain and The Viper," so that kind of gives it away.

What was this streetcar named? Was it … Desire?

Well … he kills his father. In general terms, that's frowned upon. If murdering your father because he's a dick were okay, Tyrion would have done it years earlier.

That was never the issue with the rape. Why do people say that? You're missing the point. People were upset because it was an assassination of Jaime's character. Throughout the book, he made it clear he hated sexual violence against women. And he risked his life saving a woman he barely knew from rape, and then he

I don't know about that. Him killing Shae in a fit of rage, after just being told by Jaime about his previous whore-turned-love-interest, is too significant to change to an accident.

Yeah, it can't just come out of nowhere. I expect references for a couple episodes about Freys disappearing, and possibly some references to Blackfish. I think they're going to set it up like he must be the one now leading the Brotherhood to killing Freys.

That's what I'm thinking. Tyrion-Tywin-Shae happening, then Tyrion escaping as the climax of the episode. And just when people are recovering from that, they think they'll get some toned down denouement, but instead they get LADY STONEHEART.

That's true. We'll have to see how they handle Shae's betrayal of him. Because of how the relationship has changed for the show, it will be tougher to excuse her death.

That's one of the things I always thought was interesting about Tyrion and Jaime. They start on seemingly opposite ends of the morality spectrum, and then throughout the series they start meeting in the middle. And the excuses newbies give for Tyrion after his big moment will be great. "Well he was upset and Tywin was

Oh crap, and I totally forgot about Lady Stoneheart. If they're going to do that this season, that has to be one of the last moments of the season. My God, the end of this season is going to be insane.

This is one of the reasons I love having non-reader friends. They say things like "I can't wait to see this Dorne prince take the Lannisters down!" and I just stay silent, nod my head and cackle on the inside.

Oh, that might be a good call. It does seem like they'll probably speed up the Eyrie plotline, so the Moon Door may be earlier than I expected. And "Mockingbird" is Episode 7, so that could be four consecutive episodes with INSANE "Oh shit!" moments at the end. I am so excited to see the collective newbie

Beric Dondarrion has already been shown once. Ned sent him after the Mountain in season 1. They certainly could recast, but I thought I'd point it out.
