In short, yes. Melee is a fighting game unlike any other, basically birthing a genre all of its own with fighters like Rivals of Aether and PM. Almost no other fighting game, much less any other platform fighter, is as explosive as melee with people able to make 4 stock comebacks in less than a minute. Melee’s skill

The opposite gender thing only happened with Persona 3 Portable. Persona 4 Golden had a lot of changes including a new social link and new voice actors for some of the characters. Persona 5 R could really be a variety of changes!

I’m actually shocked at how many great announcements there were for a non E3 event. Smash, Crash Team Racing, Mortal Combat, and some niche stuff for different fan groups. I don’t think I could reasonably expect too much more (though I am biased as a huge smash fan and a huge persona fan)

The last 5 hours or so of the game are really where it shines I think. I’d say you have a ways to go, but it’s definitely worth it!
