I kind of agree with Sims here - Mars brought a lot of energy and did his best but from the very beginning there was a tone of "I'm not a comedian, so don't hate me if I'm not funny!" He even told the crowd to go easy on him during his musical monologue.

I actually had no idea that Michael Stipe was into guys (not that it matters, but I just never thought about it).

I might get a lot of backlash for this, but Toby Jones was a better Capote than Phillip Seymour Hoffman. He just had the misfortune of having his Capote movie come out a year later than Hoffman's.

You guys are all missing the point of the Tech Talk Sketch - the joke was that people were complaining about the iphone 5 for silly, unimportant reasons (ie. IT'S TOO LIGHT!) and that they should be grateful to be able to have such technology in the first place (it's very much a first world problem).

One odd thing I've noticed about The Dark Knight Rises - apparently it has an "Occupy Wall Street" and "Tale of Two Cities" theme about the lower class rising up against the wealthy and privileged, and even has a scene that takes place/was filmed at the New York Stock Exchange. So is Nolan saying that Gotham is

Chris Pine has that Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds thing where he is hard to like because he looks like a smug douche bag all the time

I can't stand tosh.0, mostly because I don't find it amusing when people seriously injure themselves. In one episode I watched someone caught on fire and Tosh proceeded to mock the person repeatedly. I definitely have a sense of humor - I just don't like stuff that seems mean-spirited.

The Giants were boring because they had no real conflict and no memorable characters besides Brian Wilson. The Marlins are actually interesting because they have a collection of volatile personalities (like Zambrano and Guillen) who might melt down if the team fails to live up to expectations.

The Marlins might be the most unlikeable team in baseball. I can't stand crazy Ozzie or the arrogant and clueless front office headed by Loria and Sampson (just look at how shamelessly they paraded a very sick Muhammed Ali). Hopefully they continue to play poorly because they have proven themselves to be tacky and

I just re-watched the first Spider-Man and I never realized how much they played up the puberty angle. I mean, Uncle Ben makes mention of Peter's hormones changing, Peter shoots sticky white fluid all over his room (so basically jizzing), the film implies that Pete's weiner has grown  ("Yep, big change!) and the "with
