I wonder why interviewers don’t ask men if they are feminists, honestly. It’s a valid question to ask anybody but it seems the press love to play a cat-and-mouse game of questioning when it comes to female celebrities.

“She meant feminism, but she was afraid to say it.”

This isn’t the greatest thing to say for her when she has that oscarbaity movie on gender equality, Suffragette, coming out later this fall.
