What happened to gaming being just about games themselves and not tertiary stuff like launcher loyalty?

So when Sony bags a sick exclusive everyone applauds, but when Epic does it it’s anti-consumer? It’s not even on the same level because you don’t have to buy extra separate hardware.

On crap, now I have to cancel my cancel. 

TBH, Epic could have instead done a coupon based discount: get a 10$ coupon at the beginning of the sale, then another 10$ coupon for each purchase above 14$, which you would need to manually apply at checkout. 

Wonder why nobody is picking up the news about Paradox not wanting Bloodlines 2 to be a part of the sale, and outright removing the game from the storefront until it’s over.

You’re ignoring the fact that he would have played it for free anyway. They only paid him for one day, allegedly, and he’s still playing it to this day. Sad about those 350 EA employees out of a job, especially the ones that worked in marketing, right?

It didn’t save the DCEU, it only saved itself. Even so, the villains were weak, and Wonder Woman herself’s “take me to Ares so I can kill him” motivation driving the plot was weak.

Guy, GOG are the ones that were teasing it for Paradox so they may already have some sort of partnership with Paradox. 

That money could have went to the Respawn employees who poured tons of hours, after-hours and weekends into developing that game. I mean c’mon 1 million is an obscene amount for one single person in such a short time span.
