I'd love to see an incentive package that entices NJ people to do just that.

Now, aren't you glad he doesn't have violent diarrhea, right about now.
Yep, and in a 4000 step path (as a guess / example), the inside vs outside path could easily account for that.
How long is his path (total steps) so we can see if 100 steps is even statistically relevant, especially considering that the length of a person's step is variable and can change with how stretched out, relaxed or how much of a hurry they are in. (The length of your stride when you stroll is different than when you…
There is a huge difference between having a contractor come in and do the work and doing the work yourself if you know what you are doing or are capable of learning to do a good job.
Insurance company probably assumes a lot of the dismantling is done already: fire, flood, earthquake... less work. (I'm kidding. I think these are data points to start with. If you can do a lot of the work yourself or negotiate a better deal, then you'll do far better.)
Please be true, please be true...
Agreed.
...and I sincerely thank you for the discussion. Even if we don't quite agree, I think I see the other side of this discussion better and it was kinda neat to figure out how much carbon dioxide a package might be responsible for.
I read it all sooner than I thought. I get most of my packages from UPS. Wal-Mart is minimum of 12 lbs CO2 away. The average distance is much more than 5 or 6 miles one way A large part of America is rural or semi rural. A large part of large cities are burbs. The drive to get a movie that Wal-Mart doesn't carry is…

I'll read this when I get home. Thanks for a thorough reply. I almost never get FedEx. Almost always UPS. The average distance for my shipments is somewhere tobetween 500 and 1200 miles. 900 miles would be okay.
I'm pretty sure the 176 recommends JWest has versus your 26 means to say that there is a huge difference between fresh fish / properly handled fish.
I made sure to share this with the MythBusters. (I'm not holding my breath that anyone there will actually see that I shared it with them, but if they did they'd probably laugh.)
A plane produces about 250 lbs of CO2 per mile that it flies. A 747's carrying capacity is 308000 lbs. Say a 1lb package of several movies takes a LONG trip to get to me. In 1500 miles a 1lb package would be responsible for 1.2 lbs of CO2 per trip. (250 CO2 lbs/mi * 1500mi/trip divided by 308000 lbs). My…

Yeah, didn't get the reference at all. Probably less to do with being a cat fan (I hardly qualify...yes even though my avatar happens to be a cat, I actually like cats and dogs pretty much equally.)
So, from your post you are having an allergic reaction to the neighborhood strays that are vomiting hair all over the place while they are fucking in your alley. You eat cat food and huff glue to try and cope? I'm pretty sure you're still doing it wrong. In fact, I think the glue might have something to do with the…
You're doing it wrong. PEBKAC.
