Motherboy XXX!!!

Oh the 80s! When the entire vertical swoop of the pelvic bone really got to shine!

When I was a kid (like 8ish), I used to play Dress Up in my mom's lingerie collection and I swear she had this exact thing. (It was all silky and I didn't know! What was she going to do, tell me?)

I'm fairly certain that leopard print thing is now a swimsuit from Victoria's Secret. If not, it's only a matter of time.

Thank goodness low rise came into style. I can't for the life of me figure out this cut.

i'm feeling #17, the no-fuss fringe. i like the idea of not needing to take the garment off before we get down to biznes.

My mom has a stash of sleazy 80s nightgowns, they make amazeballs last-minute witch/Stevie Nicks costumes when layered and accessorized properly. Also, I may have really like to play dress-up in them as a kid. No one who knew me should have been surprised at my early-20s rise to sluttiness.

So I really like JTims and JBiel- but they just seem to kill me with the boring. Like, they seem so milquetoast. Like, Justin and Jessica are absolutely the friends who me and my BF go karaoke with. Or play Cranium with on Thursday nights. Maybe they come over on Saturday for craft beer and Dr. Who.

Welp, add Virginia to the list of states I'll never move to.

Excuse me. That's future-Governor Cuccinelli to you godless heathens.

I'm curious if the board members can be sued for needlessly causing a valuable women's health clinic to be closed.

She has the best attitude. And did anyone catch her interview on Here and Now yesterday? Apparently she and her husband dragged themselves inside a building where some quick thinking people started treating their wounds.

I heard this on NPR this morning and lost my shit in my breakfast. Hard to explain that one to my kids.

And I was all woe is me about not being able to dance as well after merely busting my knee. Damn, Adrianne Haslet-Davis. You are truly inspiring and amazing.

It's going to be a tough road. I almost lost a leg last year to tumors and with a mangled remnant of a "foot" the pain has been unbearable. She's in for a lot of PT, re-learning how to walk, for starters. If that's her goal, well God Speed. I wish I could give her words of encouragement. She's got a strong spirit and

The 90's. When mom jeans weren't just for moms.

And the thing I can't believe is that 90s fashion is coming back. I live in a college area and I choked the first time I saw high waisted acid washed jeans and a crop top on a girl.

Day-Glo bike shorts! Trapeze dresses! You have found my 5th grade wardrobe. 1990-1991 was a magical time for fashion.
