Wouldn’t be a Roadmaster without ‘em
I’ll be in my bunk...
Tumbling along with the tumbling tumbleweeds...
Don’t blame Austin for this debacle. CotA was bullied into existence. Texas taxpayers are paying millions to wonderful people like Red McCombs, who finagled a lot of the financing from the state while simultaneously trying to weasel out of his own tax bill. Oh, and the sleazeball owns the track. Or did, last I heard.
You’re one of the very few. The vast majority of Austinites see nothing from all this. A good friend of mine owns a boutique hotel and absolutely cleans up during F1, X Games, and ROT.
I know this won’t be a popular opinion, but this track never should have happened and I won’t shed one goddamn tear if it goes tits-up.
Looks like the Alien Queen ready to lay eggs.
Captain America wouldn’t be caught dead in that thing
Did that guy ever get busted for insurance fraud? This happened in Texas City, and I recall he claimed that a pelican flew up in front of him and he swerved to avoid it. Clearly was unaware that the entire incident had been recorded.
I once owned a ‘73 Montego. It was without a doubt the worst piece of shit I’ve ever had the misfortune to be stuck behind the wheel of—and I owned an ‘81 Chevette. It forever soured me on all things Mercury.
I sat a Fat Boy Low. I gave it a test ride. I loved it. I love how it looks, I love how it sounds. I loved how it rode. I loved how it handled. (That last is possibly proof to some that I don’t know a lot about bikes, even tho I’ve ridden for years). I have short legs, so it fit me perfectly.
Given how litigious UT is when it comes to protecting their brand (no pun intended), I have to assume for now that this, uh, vehicle, was sanctioned by UT.
hmmm... maybe it is the second season. At least we know the future won’t be stuck in onesies forever.
Only in the first season of the future. All the rest are tops and bottoms. PJs, but tops and bottoms.
When my dad was an Air Force medic stationed on Johnston atoll, there was only one vehicle available for making “house calls”, and it would only go in reverse. Fortunately, Johnston was (is) pretty puny, being maybe one square mile at the time he was there and he got really skilled at zipping around the island…
“floater” is a good word for that one
