Exactly. “Black Lives Matter” means “Black Lives Matter...as much as everyone else’s lives already do.”

Makes total sense. One of my friends asked me to donate to a walk for breast cancer research and I was like “BUT WHAT ABOUT SKIN CANCER?!?!?”

The reason why “Black Lives Matter” is a meaningful mantra is the fact that so many people clearly believe the opposite. No one is saying “Black Lives Matter More Than ...,” they’re saying “Black Lives Matter The Same As Every One Else.”
