For decades, people have been questioning horror movie tropes.

I don't think it's scary but it gets good jokes out of the genre, which means progressing like a part of it, which means pathos.

It's hard for me to think of it as anything else given what happens to Nick Frost at the end.

My guess is most people who would use that word would find this movie crass.
