I think the biggest aspect that minimizes differences is that the best players spend so much time doing aerials, there isn’t a huge impact on turns and such.

Definitely a big difference between 30fps on the PS4 and 120/144 on the PC. If I play on PS4 for a while, it’s hard to notice. But as soon as I jump back to PC it’s like night and day, especially with turning.

You had me until you started on the REAL sportiness of a single manufacturer, let alone arguing over a 3500lb, 4-cylinder 240hp sedan. Cross-shop any BMW and you will find other cars with similar practicality and sport. Especially in the used car market.

I don’t disagree. But if you need something more for DC traffic than canyon carving, there are going to be benefits the other way. There are a lot more average-buyer minded gadgets for suburban driving on a fully loaded Honda than a CPO BMW.

Yes, if you’re planning on driving it for only a few years. No if you plan on keeping it past the CPO warranty.

There are a ton of conflicting opinions about the Tesla Roadster, but to this day I think it is the most fun car I’ve had the opportunity to drive. I admit that my perception may be jaded over the last few years, particularly because it was a pretty startling first impression as to what electric vehicles could

Lol.

You can hate the man for a thousand different reasons, but Kanye has consistently been one of the best producers in music for a while.

Because some people want to still drive the car in a few years without dropping 5 figures back into it.

It’s one of my favorites part of the car! I love the fact that everything about it screams 1990s Japanese sports car.

I don’t think a lot of people do, which is where I think there’s going to be quite a bit of future value. They were optioned around $60-80k when sold new; really clean ones are getting that or more right now. But I’ve seen a couple with either questionable (but removable) mods, or 100k+ miles, that have been much more

1996 SMZ #105/104 here. If you find another SMZ that is in good condition for a decent price, buy it now. Probably looking in the high $30s/low $40s for one with a few miles under it from a motivated private seller, but they’ve been commanding more and more in decent auctions.

Again, any such feature would obviously be optional. The idea of being able to literally sit behind the wheel of a car - as it drives itself faster than you probably ever could - sounds like one of the best teachers you could possibly have. And much cheaper than paying for a professional to sit next to you.

And yes. If I spent the money on a brand new high performance vehicle and then paid to take said vehicle to a famous track, I would gladly enjoy the feature of being able to drive on my own as well as sit behind the wheel for a professional lap. It clearly states that any such features would be optional.

I could sim the Nürburgring in a GT-R setup all day and get really quick. In a sim. But there is a massive difference once you’re actually behind the wheel and trying to push a car to its limits. Personally, it would take me a while to push my confidence levels to maximum on the track in one of those. A programmed

I dunno, I sorta like the idea of the auto-lap if they were able to make the technology work right. There’s a massive difference in my ability to tackle the Nürburgring and how quickly a professional can. Simulators can be great, but real track time is expensive. Being able to sit behind the wheel while the car takes

Mentioned it below, but be sure to set an alert for the SMZ if you’re actively in the market. I’ve done a lot of research in the past few years and the Stillen market is unknown and undervalued, IMO. And so damn fun.

If you’re looking to take the plunge, the Stillen 300ZX SMZ is still my favorite option. Only a couple hundred ever created, and a handful of those go for sale each year. You’ll pay a premium right now, but they’re appreciating at crazy rates.

What a save!
