I think everyone in America should listen to “Dolly Parton’s America”. It is a beautifully done podcast.  Like you, I’m not a fan of her entertainment, but I do love her as a person and a human being.

Hear, hear. Dolly Parton is a wonderful human being with a great heart. If other rich folks and celebrities acted like her, we’d be in a much better place.

Right? I swear, I think all my Italian family thought turkey was poverty food, not something to be eaten at a holiday! Having been there, I get that. Everyone could farm fowl but having bigger meat animals really was a luxury. So ham or steaks or lamb is the good stuff.

Mexicana here and yeah, godparents and godsiblings even get their own special category. I got bunk white godparents and my sister hit the jackpot with Italian and Puerto Rican godparents.

I have great respect for this list, we Central Americans are very relaxed on who we call family to the confusion of Caucasiandom. They hate their own and envy ours real quick. Only difference here is we have godparents as its own category as we have a set for every holy sacrament and they outrank aunts and uncles. And…

Uncles/Aunts that are really someone’s gay lover get bonus points because they have put in the work. Also, Whomever made the Macaroni and/or brought ziplocs and plastic wear can level up.
