i’m in WA state and we have mail-in ballots. one of my many issues with it is i no longer get my sticker.

#3 is love - 3 isn't too young for ennui. And #9: my polling ladies were awesome as fuck...

As a lifelong Georgian, up until like 4 years ago my vote was meaningless. I did it for the sticker and the sticker alone.

They gave us wristbands in Illinois. I’m assuming this gets me in to a club later.

8. To be able to rock a “Vote or Die” shirt to the cemetery plot of your archnemesis—who died last month—just so you can say “I guess we both made our choices.”

#2 is me. Apparently, I’m the only one in my immediate vicinity at work who got up early and voted before coming in. I’m shamelessly flaunting my sticker at all those losers.

I probably watched tennis before you were whelped.

“The racket penalty is beyond stupid”

How about you haul your entitled posterior to somewhere where people actually believe you are God’s Gift to Humanity instead of annoying people with your inflated ego here?

Probably because you don’t understand the rules of sexism. If you actually were a woman and didn’t fire off the handle about things you know so little about.

My one response to what you said (because i agreed wth your other points) is that as a coach for wrestling and other sports over the years the one thing I absolutely demand out of my athletes is keep relative control of their emotions during competition.

I do not at all doubt that it does happen, but there are numerous former players and others in the tennis community who have pointed out how *rarely* that occurs. Especially in a tournament final.

Apparently neither does Richard Deitsch whose job is to cover tennis. Since he thinks it was bullshit too. But keep being wrong.

There’s an asshole on your six.

You’re welcome to go back to Deadspin if you like.

I think we can all agree that Ramos was performing his job and had every right to call each of those violations. But if you can’t see that these penalties are being called in a disparate manner maybe you don’t watch as much tennis as you claim. I am amazed that Serena would even go to the US Open at this point. She is
