The DC National Guard deployed a Immediate Response Force (IRF) composed of National Guard soldiers and airmen to the Capitol complex this afternoon to support the U.S. Capitol Police.

I wouldn’t say they’ve already lost yet. They’ve lost the demographics war, but their goal is apartheid-style democracy, where only whites get to vote. After the insurrection on Jan 6th, it’s pretty clear how hard they’ll fight to make that happen. We’ve only just begun the real fight.

It appears that there are jurisdictions where it is not the police, but the arrestee (and whatever medical insurance they may have) that is on the hook for medical expenses prior to booking.
