People don't like paying more money. Sadly there is so many factors when making a game that often the publishers can't do anything about a price hike. So instead they try to make it worth it by doing DLC, F2P etc etc.

Publishers are a dangerous game because they are so easily influenced. I've known a few projects to get canned mid flow due to external forces.

Problem with not having deadlines is that game development could go on and on and on and on and on and on. There would be no end!

I can answer that, it's mostly down to the fact that half of the QA department are graduates or people who worked in a Game Store and therefore are not seen as overly qualified. I don't agree with it but I see it a lot.

You do realise we like video games too. We don't put these easter eggs in for attention. We do it because it's fun for everyone (mainly ourselves at first!). They're never out in the open or obvious so they don't detract anything from the game. It's purely because we want to add a little laugh :)

Whats wrong with freemium? Its like having a demo but with an option to buy in. Instead of committing a large sum of money to an entire game, you buy into it in small pieces as you please. Alot of the time you can enjoy a game without ever paying a penny.

You can also get reinforcements through gifting between friends and visiting other peoples islands. You can also use Coins and Cash that you earn in game through tasks, challenges and matches to spend on more reinforcements. Plus many other ways to keep the gaming going :)
