I had a 96 SL2 in high school and it was so great. It took all of my abuse and terrible maintenance habits like a champ. I got all four wheels off the ground over railroad tracks several times.

You want to try that again without being an asshole?
I’m not sure where you got that. We know he asked the letter writer for an open relationship. We know the letter writer felt hurt and said no. We don’t really have anything on how he reacted to that and you seem to be assuming he “doesn’t care”. He’s allowed to ask for it without being a piece of shit, the letter…
You’re reading a fucklot into my post. People are allowed to want that, even if they’re not in a relationship where it could work. Remember that the guy in the letter is still just asking.
This exact letter aside, that’s ok though. People can want this.
I started reading your post thinking “well, it’s different for a few reasons I guess” and finished it thinking “man, Jefferson was a sack of shit wasn’t he. Fuck his statues.”
Yep. Real conspiracies occur at bottlenecks in existing processes. The ones that have happened in real life in government and in business tend to become possible after just the right combination of powers get consolidated to just the wrong 1-3 people by total dumb luck, then those people do shitty human things…
Nobody is being judged exactly just for benefiting from white privilege. People are being judged for how they deal with that.
Exactly. I don’t like her shows very much, but with a little more format freedom, I suspect she could create something I’d be into.
The Southeast is probably going to have a lot of clouds that day. I’m curious if that means there will be a sudden flood of cancellations in those cities or just crowds of people who still can’t see the eclipse.
This is the broadway equivalent of a movie that went to sundance more than a year before opening in theatres. I promise this is not a non-standard usage.
I didn’t know how much I needed this entire concept in my life. I really want to see this done on tons of other cars. I want to pore over miles of spreadsheets on how cars age. This just totally became my jam.
That’s a pretty common way to use it. Plays and Musicals regularly have shorter test runs first. It’s new to Broadway and it was probably changed a lot after each of those cities.
Well sure. That’s not buying “Cheap tires” that’s doing your research and buying “inexpensive tires”. There are lots of bargains to be had if you know what you’re looking for.
From the video it looks like they’re just having a nice cruise at a reasonably safe speed on a famous scenic road. Do you have evidence to the contrary?
Most states don’t recess them. Where have you been driving?
Honestly if it were up to me, there would be more focus on historiography than history in high schools anyway. The STEM kids are getting all this material on the process itself, but I doubt your principal cares about the distinction between knowing history and studying history.
This is in that “not washing your hands in the bathroom” category for me where I just cannot even fathom the mindset it takes.
The idea that we can keep adding decades of history, but still teach it in just one class, is fucking bananas anyway.
You talk a lot about people coming from “backwards” countries who “won’t help” America by being here.
