I honestly feel like there is such a thing as "real fake" vs. "fake fake." Usually, Drag Race feels "real fake." This season has often felt "fake fake."

The chickens keep her young.

Ymmv, but I think that Bianca, for example, controlled her narrative just as much as Ginger has been trying to control hers, but Bianca is so likable and smart, and the rest of season 6 was so fun, it never felt inauthentic or unfair. But this season, with the more low-key personalities and weirdness of the judging

It really does feel like Kennedy, and Ginger, have not been called out on their weaknesses the way other queens have. The crystallized chicken hooker look was just…I don't care if they were being judged in teams, that shit needed to be acknowledged. I think I'd be a lot happier to see them both in the final four if it

Hello Kitty is not terrible! But Badtz Maru does rule, without question.

I would have given Hello Katya the win for that line about balancing out "Hello Kitty's decadent capitalism" alone.

It is totally on the judges for not calling her out, which I think is why it rubs people the wrong way. I definitely don't dislike Ginger, she IS cute and funny. She just seems to be getting a lot of credit for runway that's not that great.

"Amplified this season" is right. Everyone's personalities read so relatively subdued.

I think Ginger is slipping by on the runway because her looks are consistent, but boring. Jinkx's runway ran the gamut from spectacular to mess, but they were never ever boring. Ginger needs to be called out for never pushing the envelope, especially in a season with so many queens who really do excel visually. Bianca

Yes, I miss the workroom so much this season.

I was actually really curious about the process & decision making that went into the looks. My guess is that they were given bodysuits that were half that tuxedo thing and half a nude bodysuit and told to construct from there. Katya/Violet obviously tried to coordinate their looks and were influenced by the tango.

I also kind of love that Pearl can't twerk.

Same. I've really come to like Pearl and Violet. The two of them, plus Katya would be my top three pick at this point.

I was worried for Trixie as soon as they started their skit and she put out basically the same energy as she had before her elimination. If the Pearl/Violet/Fame trio hadn't messed up so badly, I have a feeling Trixie would have continued the tradition of returning queens being booted their first episode back.

Oh, I loved it! It was completely bonkers and awesome.

I actually liked Kennedy's church lady runway look too. It wasn't UGLY ugly, but it was funny and sort of charming.

Oh my God, Ru's dress!

A Max & Violet show would be stunningly beautiful, if nothing else.

The pairings were really good all around. The Pearl & Trixie and Katya & Mrs. Kasha Davis pairs were hilarious. Max and Violet looked beautiful and their personal styles meshed together really well. Even Jaidynn and Tempest could have worked specifically because they are complete opposites. It just didn't come

I love staying in hotels. I would be thrilled if someone gave me a weekend in a hotel in my home city.
