Another example of church people being good Christians, bless their hateful little shriveled up hearts.

I’m Rob Lee and I haven’t left the church. Y’all haven’t gotten rid of me yet.

I love that Michelle is free to do whatever she damn well pleases now that she’s FLOTUS in our hearts only. And the best pic is Blue Ivy’s:

Bay Area anarchists are the worst. I’ve never worked with or been around a more entitled, narcissistic, malicious, tunnel-visioned group of people, and that includes the conservatives I have personally known. Turned me off to doing any kind of activism in the area completely.

You’d be surprised. Hardcore Bolshevik style Communists and Anti-govt Anarchists get along really when in the “destruction of the State” phase. It’s when that occurs that the dumb Anarchists get rounded up and removed while acting like they didn’t expect this to happen.

I like when conservatives tell me about all those far left communist anarchists.

Really? Communist and anarchist, huh?

Let’s talk about those retweets.

Yea there’s a whole bit at the beginning of the film after Dr. Grant scares the crap out of that tween who calls the raptor a 6 foot turkey. They’re walking up a hill and Dr. Grant is like, ‘You want one of those?” And Dr. Sattler’s like, “I don’t want that kid but a breed of child could be intriguing”. And Dr. Grant

if i recall correctly, it was Laura Dern’s characters idea to have the kids ride with Dr. Grant so he would get used to being around kids. either the little boy or girl says this to Grant.

It is super feminist, but she actually does care about having kids, and she is in a romantic relationship... that’s sort of a main plot point? She wants to have kids someday and no-really-I’m-American Dr Grant, who is her partner, is kinda ehhhh but his character arc in the film warms him up to the idea.

Yeah, I’m going to be THAT commenter and say that I was disappointed in the moment Dern mentioned because it feeds into a caricature of feminism (white women replacing men in power). There are several other much more powerful moments. BTW, I HEART Laura Dern.

thank you! that is the part of the movie i thought this article was about.

my gifs aren’t tired

Yep. Just a great movie.

Now playing

There’s also this badass moment where she calls it out:

I went into paleobotany because of Laura Dern’s character in Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park holds up extremely well, honestly. The female lead is wearing sensible clothes given her profession and no one stops her from doing her job because she’s a woman. The young girl is the hacker and Goldblum is the shirtless eye candy. All the dinosaurs are female!
